Renovation of a clock from the 1st half of the 20th century

Destoyed heart

In 2015 our Workshop received a wall clock. Obviously, since the bad condition of items delivered to our workshop is a standard, we were not surprised by it. However, we were surprised by the manner in which it was delivered—virtually all parts were in a plastic bag. We assumed that someone attempted to renovate it or repair it earlier on and left the clock dismantled.

The greatest issue, apart from the reconstruction, was the broken and severely damaged mechanism. At first, we thought that we may manage to find replacement parts or an identical clock mechanism. After a long search for parts, we have obtained the missing elements and started the renovation. The result can be seen in the photo report below.

The clock is now hanging on an exposed wall in the living room, right next to its owner’s fireplace.
